Adventures and Fun

By Cloudy, February 17, 2024

Well times flies when you’re having fun!! We’ve had so many adventures the past year.  We learned how to take monochrome LRGB images and narrowboand images matching the Hubble palette!! Plus, we went to the Adirondacks and went camping!  Right now we are still waiting for a clear sky to get back out in the field and hoping spring gets here soon.  We are really looking forward to the solar eclipse this year.  Here are just a handful of photos from the great memories made this past year.

Until next time!

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.”
– Edward Abbey

Catching up

We’ve been way to busy to have time to write! Last year we enjoyed the great total solar eclipse from our yard! My mom built me a Polar Express train to help me go up the stairs, and we went fall rain camping!

Welcome Spring 2023

After a long winter, spring is finally here! We have been really busy going for hikes, doing astronomy in the backyard, and just enjoying the earth waking up!

Where has the time gone?

Life has been incredibly busy! 2022 just went in a flash. I had a major surgery, celebrated my 10th birthday, and even went swimming. There’s a lot to chronicle but just wanted to say hi for now!

Andromeda, the Dog Galaxy?

I wonder if there are dogs in that galaxy simultaneously looking through a telescope at the Milky Way wondering if there are dogs in this galaxy too? Maybe Andromeda is run by dogs like in Planet of the Apes, except it would be Galaxy of the Dogs.

Late Summer / Early Fall

My mom captured an image of the Eagle Nebula with the Pillars of Creation. And I got to inspect a cool ancient tree stump at Letchworth.
