INTERSTELLARCLOUDS
I am Mr. Cloud
By Mr. Cloud, March 26, 2021
Hi everyone! This is my first blog post ever. I am an 8 year old hound mix with the coolest paw-rents ever. I’m originally from St. Mary Parish in Louisiana. Although I miss my old family, I love my new family too. I’ve spent a whole year with them and they let me get on the furniture, run around the house and the yard, and hang out with the really cool neighbors.
My mom spends most of her day doing stuff for me which is so cool. She makes homemade bone broth for me which I love. The other day she grilled chicken for me and it was SO AMAZING.
One of my favorite ways to spend time with my mom is doing astronomy stuff. We were out there almost every night last summer and I felt sad that she put all of the stuff in a little case when winter came.
But then I realized she was only organizing it! So we went back out in the middle of winter to take some photos and stuff. I mostly sniff around and keep watch.
Now the seasons are changing again and spring is here so I’m so excited to get back outside with my mom to look at the moon and the stars!
Btw, I also go by Cloudy. Most of my real friends call me Cloudy. I think it’s because my mom is on Cloud 9 with me.
Until next time!

Adventures and Fun
Just a few photos from some of our adventures!
Welcome Spring 2023
After a long winter, spring is finally here! We have been really busy going for hikes, doing astronomy in the backyard, and just enjoying the earth waking up!
Where has the time gone?
Life has been incredibly busy! 2022 just went in a flash. I had a major surgery, celebrated my 10th birthday, and even went swimming. There’s a lot to chronicle but just wanted to say hi for now!
Andromeda, the Dog Galaxy?
I wonder if there are dogs in that galaxy simultaneously looking through a telescope at the Milky Way wondering if there are dogs in this galaxy too? Maybe Andromeda is run by dogs like in Planet of the Apes, except it would be Galaxy of the Dogs.
Late Summer / Early Fall
My mom captured an image of the Eagle Nebula with the Pillars of Creation. And I got to inspect a cool ancient tree stump at Letchworth.
Summer fun
By Mr. Cloud
Getting back to the really important stuff, we camped in the yard last weekend which was so much fun! My mom put a nice tri-tip on the smoker, made pancakes on the grill, and we had a campfire!
Welcome
My love of astronomy began over 25 years ago when the first images from the Hubble Space Telescope were released. I’ll never forget the first time I saw Pillars of Creation. It still haunts and captivates the imagination. I bought my first telescope 6 years ago, learned the night sky, and began dabbling in wide-angle and planetary DSLR astrophotography only last year.
