My name is Seeta Persaud. I am a burgeoning amateur backyard astronomer residing in North America.  Exploring the deep sky is my joy and passion that fills me with wonder and a sense of connectedness to  something greater than the sum of its parts.  Astronomy and astrophotography teach us patience, humility, and the limitations of the human perspective.  With technological aides  we can see what the human eyes cannot observe and venture millions of light years away to catch a glimpse of the cosmic ocean.  Join me on my journey through visual astronomy and astrophotography as I explore our solar system and deep sky objects.
